Jaco Beach is considered the hub of the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica.

This beach town offers several accommodations for short-term or longer-term tourist including condominiums, hotels, hostels, and vacation rental houses.

Great weather, beautiful tropical landscapes and close to San Jose and the main international airport (SJO).  Jaco is only about an hour away on a new modern highway, so people have easy, fast access to all San Jose’s amenities.

As the closest beach town to the capital of San Jose, Jaco Beach attracts locals as well as tourists. On the main street you will find a wide variety of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs, many unique boutiques, shops, tour operators, and galleries.

Because of the number of tourists, part-time and full-time, Jaco Beach has developed the best service industry in the country, and as a result it is one of the few beach towns in Costa Rica where you can get by with only English.

Just a couple minutes south of Jaco is the Playa Hermosa, famous for its amazing surfing.  This quiet little beach village is a favorite amongst tourists, known for beautiful nature activities like hiking, mountain biking, ATV, zip line, horseback riding, and field trips to waterfalls.

For world class sportfishing and golf, we count on Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort which is only a few minutes north of Jaco. This luxury residential resort and marina offers something for the luxury lover’s tourist.

Jaco Bay is 2.5 miles long and great for relaxing in the sun, enjoying a beach bar and surfing. The surf is good in Jaco Beach for all levels of expertise.  Surf competitions are held here frequently and there are a number of surf schools you can find right on the beach that will get you up and enjoying some of the best waves in the area.

As Costa Rica’s most visited beach town both for foreigners and Ticos, Jaco continues to rank as a top destination to visit and have fun in the sun.
